Photos of Madagascar from Julie Larsen Maher

Julie Larsen Maher is Staff Photographer for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), a non-profit organization devoted to saving wildlife and wild lands through careful science, international conservation, education, and the management of the world's largest system of urban wildlife parks, including the Bronx Zoo. Julie works with some of the world's leading animal experts and scientists. Her photos reflecting that work are used in WCS publications and distributed internationally via the Associated Press.

Julie visited Madagascar where WCS has a conservation program during the summer of 2004. The following is a collection of some of her photos from that trip.

Julie is based in New York at the Bronx Zoo.
